Evander has built a new 420,000 sq ft regional distribution centre in Chorley for Supermarket Giant Waitrose. Construction of the new 360,000 sq ft warehouse, 50,000 sq ft of offices and a vehicle maintenance unit started at the end of August 2011 and completed in April 2012. The centre is expected to be fully operational by late summer 2012 and is set to create up to 600 new jobs in the area.
