When thinking about our 5th birthday, we started thinking about other great things surrounding the number 5. Check out our favourite facts around the number 5!
- There are 5 rings in the Olympic symbol.
- Basketball is played with teams of 5 players, and so is 5-a-side football.
- If you’re feeling tired – you take ‘5’ to revitalize.
- There are 5 vowels in the English alphabet.
- 5 was the lucky number for the superstitious French fashion designer Gabrielle `Coco’ Chanel. In 1921 she chose the fifth day of the fifth month to introduce her new brand of perfume which she called Chanel No. 5.
- Whilst together, boy band 5ive sold almost 15 million records & had 11 top ten singles & four top ten albums in the UK.
