Great things about Scotland
As we celebrate opening in Edinburgh this week, we realised we now have four restaurants in bonny Scotland. It got us thinking about all of the great things about Scotland! So here’s our top 5 things about Scotland…
1. We’ve got to start with our beef, which is Aberdeen Angus! Since opening our first restaurant, we have sourced our beef from the same farmer in Aberdeenshire. Check out our owner Chris on the farm HERE! We think that our prime scotch beef tastes amazing & we hope you do too!
2. The landscape – we love the beautiful scenery in Scotland! You can see our owner Chris taking a stroll round our farm in the video above. You can’t come to Scotland & not take in the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
3. The people! We have to say, we love our Scottish customers & they never fail to brighten up our day!
4. We love drinking Irn Bru when we visit Scotland! The drink has been around in Scotland for over 50 years & it’s Irn the only soft drink (except from a beverage in Mexico) which outsells both Coke & Pepsi in its homeland. It is regarded as Scotland’s national (non-alcoholic) drink & our Scottish customer’s defniitely love it!
5. We’re loving our new home in Edinburgh & exploring the great city! It’s the most visited city in the UK outside of London don’t you know & we can definitely see why.
