Top 5 reasons why we’re proud to be British
We’re getting into the spirit of Team Great Burgers & thinking about what’s great about Britain.
1.THE FOOD
Well…we have to start off with the food! We have some great food producers, including the Aberdeenshire farms where we’ve sourced our beef from since we opening our first restaurant in 2005. We also champion Jimmy’s Farm, who provides us with the tasty rare-breed, marbelled beef in our range of Jimmy’s Farm burgers.
2.MUSIC
From the Beatles to the Rolling Stones and more recently, Adele, British music and performers have definitely left a legacy on the history of music and will continue to do so!
3.BRITISH WEATHER
Let us explain this one! Although British weather is unpredictable, when we have glorious sunshine we love nothing more than getting the barbeque out & making the most of the weather (because it will probably be raining tomorrow!). We’re the same in winter, wrapping up warm in woolly jumpers & sledging in the snow. We also get to enjoy the delicious seasonal food, because let’s face it…a BBQ at Christmas just wouldn’t be the same as a delicious roast turkey with all the trimmings!
4. NATIONAL LANDMARKS
People visit from all over the world to see our famous landmarks, and we’re sure people will be using the long Bank Holiday to go site seeing too! From the White Cliffs of Dover, to Stonehenge, Britain is full of beautiful landmarks that can only be found on our isles.
5. VARIETY
We’re well known for our love of variety, which is obvious in the choice of more than 40 burgers on our menu. Britain embraces all cultures & there is great diversity which simply can’t be found anywhere else in the world.
