NEWS – St. Stephen’s restaurant open now!
Our St. Stephen’s restaurant is now open! Based on the Upper Level, next door to the cinema, it’s our first restaurant in Hull and we can’t wait to find out what our new customers think of handmade burger Co.!
We visited Handmade Burger Co a week after it opened and had the classic chicken burger and the blue cheese buger with sides of chips and grilled seasonal vegetables. All were lovely – so was the strawberry milkshake. I think this will become a regular haunt. Hull has needed a proper burger place ever since Yankee Burger on Hessle Road closed down. Well done!
We went today, and have to say it was a delight.
There were five of us, which caused an issue getting a table, but because of the delay we were given two free sides as an apology.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back soon!
Love your restaurants and am so thrilled you guys are here in Hull. Perfect!
Visited Handmade Burger for the first time recently and thoroughly enjoyed the classic chicken burger.
The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean.
The queue to get into the restaurant was very long, but didn’t wait to long to be seated, the turn over was quick.
Looking forward to my next visit.
i visited today 22/04/11 for the first time in the hull site, i am a fan of gourmet burger kitchen restuarants whenever i am in London and always wanted them to come to hull ,now i can safely say they are not needed here

I had lunch with my daughter in your restaurant today for the first time. I’m a coeliac and it was a refreshing change for all members of the team to recognise my dietary requirement and they were all extremely helpful. The service was excellent and the food was well presented and of a high standard.
Handmadeburger should be really proud to have such a good team in Hull.

Was in Hull today, and went for lunch with you, quite probably had the best burger I have ever had in my life! I love the concept, you really have got it right.

Went to your restaurant for the first time this week.
The staff were SO helpful and friendly which is a good enough reason to return.
And the chips! So many and so delicious!
But what shall I do now my doctor has told me to lose some weight?…I’m distraught.
Anyway, I have a 2 for 1 voucher, so the doctor can wait for the moment…..
