Our Bullring review winner!
Caroline McCabe was the lucky winner who won the chance to try every items on our new menu & write a review. You can read her review in full below:
“I visited your Restaurant at the Bullring, Birmingham on Sunday 25th March along with my husband Andy and our 8 year old daughter Olivia. It was a lovely sunny day and we had spent a relaxing afternoon, walking by the canal – working up an appetite. I was thrilled to have won the opportunity to sample items from the New Menu and share the experience with my family. I was so happy that Olivia was allowed to come and she was excited to have so much to choose from.
I introduced myself to the staff and I explained that I was a competition winner. I was pointed in the direction of Gary, the Manager who was very obliging and told us to choose anything from the Menu – which we duly did! After much deliberation, myself and Andy chose from the Jimmy’s range of Burgers.
They are made from rare-breed, free-range beef, marbled & slowly matured for at least 3 weeks to create a distinctive taste. I chose Jimmy’s Beef Cheese Classic and Andy had the new Jimmy’s Beef, Cheese and Bacon. It was a hard decision to make and I was also tempted by several others including the new ‘stuffed with Wensleydale’ with Cranberry Sauce, Mayo and Salad. We ordered a portion of chips and a portion of onion rings each and Andy also had a portion of coleslaw. Olivia chose from the Children’s Menu and had the Junior Beef Cheese Classic with chips and onion rings.
We rounded off the meal with a tub of Marshfield Farm Ice Cream in Mint Choc Chip which was brought to us with a chocolate sauce side dish to add as we pleased. This along with our drinks – Dandelion and Burdock for me and Milkshakes for the others was very refreshing.
I can highly recommend the restaurant and new menu – from which we would love to choose again. The Burgers are of a very high quality and it is clear that only the finest ingredients are used. Congratulations!
