Our Captain American Burger
We know that rugby players need a hearty meal to give them energy for their games. That’s why we were delighted to get a visit from Chris Parker this weekend, who plays for Gateshead Thunder & captains the Malta rugby team.
We’ve been championing our American burger this week in the spirit of the new Avengers film. However, it’s our American Burger with a twist – with added mushroom & bacon. However, Chris took this burger to a whole new level by adding another beef pattie – definitely transforming this into a burger fit for a super hero. You can see the burger in it’s full tower of glory in the photo above.
(We’d like to report that there weren’t any leftovers either & Chris also polished off half of his friend’s burger too! UK version of Man vs Food anyone?).
