FOOD QUERIES
Can I order a rare beef/lamb burger?
We are advised by the Food Standards Agency & Environmental Health Organisation that our patties should be cooked medium, due to the fact that we double mince our prime Scotch beef. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cook a rare burger for our customers.
Do you serve Halal food?
All of our restaurants serve Halal chicken & every restaurant will have a certificate to prove this from our butcher. The chicken is held & prepared in accordance to Halal guidelines & is cooked on an entirely separate grill when a customer asks for Halal chicken. Our beef & lamb burgers are not Halal.
Do you have an allergy menu?
We’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for those with special dietary requirements to eat at handmade burger Co. We’ve devised an allergy menu which highlights what food is suitable for an array of different allergies. Are gluten-free options available?

Can you cater for someone with a nut allergy?
Unfortunately as a number of our dishes do contain nuts, we cannot guarantee that your meal would not contain traces of nut. However, our allergy menu shows which items on our menu actually contain nuts – http://handmadeburger.co.uk/our-food/allergymenu/.
Are vegan options available?
Although none of our burgers on our menu are specifically vegan at the moment, our teams can certainly create a bespoke burger especially for our vegan customers. For example, you could have our chargrilled veg skewers with salad on a burger or flat mushrooms & crushed avocado with salad.

Do you have nutritional information for your menu?
Unfortunately we do not have nutritional information available for our menu at the moment. However, we can assure you that as we make all of our burgers by hand, the restaurant team are more than happy to customise your burger to suit your dietary requirements, so you can order your burger without certain ingredients or sauces.

Are franchising opportunities available?

I’m running a charity event and would like a donation – can you help?
handmade burger Co. is committed to working with local organisations in order to create partnerships within the communities where we have restaurants only. Our current charity policy supports local charities through restaurant vouchers only. These donations may be utilised for fundraising activities & charity events.
